Spicy Corn on the Cob
4 ears of fresh corn, husks and silk removed
Green Chili Basting Sauce or Sweet Basting Sauce (recipes follow)
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
With a pastry brush, apply your preferred sauce evenly over each ear of corn. Wrap each cob loosely in heavy aluminum foil, so that there is enough room for heat to circulate. Cook for 45 to 50 minutes until corn is tender.
Corn on the cob might seem to taste best grilled, but you can get equally delicious results from baking this recipe in the oven. I've given you two kinds of basting sauces - one spicy, one mild and sweet.
